FULL TESTIMONIAL OF SIDNEY VORSTER
09 May 2023

My name is Sidney Vorster, born 19th June 1964 (aged 58) in Zimbabwe and I currently reside in South Africa. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer on the 24th March 2022. It is inoperable. The tumour had wrapped around the lymph and major blood vessels of the pancreas. My initial tumour markers were high at 397, and the size of the tumour was significant at 37mm.

On 7th April 2022, I started my first round of 12 chemo sessions, which were administered twice a month for six months. Chemotherapy ended on the 19th September 2022. Shortly before I started with my treatment, I was provided with the gas machine along with bottles of C-Kure and RLS drops. I immediately started to use the machine and take the C-Kure along with the RLS drops. Towards the end of my chemotherapy, I got very sick and was unable to continue to drink the C-Kure. Subsequently I stopped using it. However, I did continue using the gas machine (via the nasal cannula) and drops, two to three times per day, every day.

I was scanned regularly during and after my chemotherapy/radiation sessions and they indicated a significant decrease in the size of the tumour – at least a 75% shrinkage. At each doctor’s appointment my tumour markers were measured, and they had consistently decreased. At my last doctor’s appointment in February 2023 my markers measured between 8 and 9 having dropped from 397. On the 9th of November to 18th November, I had five sessions of targeted radiation on my pancreas and lymph nodes, this assisted with the reduction in the size of the tumour. On the 12th January 2023 during my follow up scan spots were found on both of my lungs. The radiologist was concerned that the cancer had spread and at that point advised us to re-scan within 6 weeks’ time. During the 6 weeks, I used the gas machine religiously three times a day, every day, for up to an hour per session. When I returned for my follow up scan, we were pleased and relieved to see that the spots on my lungs had cleared and there was no spread of cancer.

I am due to be rescanned on 15th May 2023. I will be consulting with my oncologist on the 17th May, the radiologist on the 19th May. I will provide you with more feedback as soon as I have received all the results.

Sincerely,
Sidney Vorster
